The weather can play a big part on this island. So my advice would be to dress for all eventualities. It was a great experience but I felt the price was quite high.

We always visit the farmers islands whilst on holiday. We love seeing the puffins and shags. There are plenty of boats to choose from and you get a good view of the seals too.

My favourite place on earth. Would recommend Inner Farne as there is the most beautiful chapel and a small National Trust centre (also toilets which the other islands do not have) and spectacular views of the seabirds on the cliffs in nesting season. When the...More

First time to see and go to the Farne Islands. We saw lots of seals even lucky enough to see porpoise from the boat. It really was very interesting to hear the Grace Darling story and see the lighthouse where she had lived with her...More

It's well worth visiting. Boat guides are very knowledgeable & know where to go for the sights. If you plan to land on the island it costs £7 unless you are a member of the National Trust.

Great place to sit and bird watch or just wander in your own thoughts. This is such a peaceful place and worth the boat ride.

Couple of hours. Not allowed to disembark as this is a protected wildlife sanctuary. Boats get up very close to wildlife so great for photos.
