While the owners really cared about the animals, they treated the volunteers very poorly. We ate off very dirty tables, slept in rooms with no windows or curtains, had no access to a working toilet or sink...etc etc. While I understood that it's rough in the jungle, the paid

Amy, You came last year, already posted lies and horrible things about us before. I do not understand your desire to harm others. You lied since day one, offered to come and make videos for us, arrived late, did not follow the rules, openwd cages putting other people under risk, left without paying for your extras and not paying for your transfer out. Please go on with your life. We wish you the best and truly trust you will be a better person one day. Vicky

Thank you, a very descriptive and honest review, helps a lot people understand why they can't bring food into the cabins. As for the food at the restaruant, we certainly will take into account your opinion, if it helps to know, most of the products are locally grown and organic!

We stayed the night - accommodation is outside the “human enclosure” - meaning close encounters with monkeys. Food is simple but good - but the main thing is the tranquility, environment and the great work they do rescuing and caring for animals.
