OUR CRAFT BEERS‏
Cascade Apricot
8.5% ABV‏ / Glass Our Apricot has the intense aroma of goldrich and rival apricots, slow ripened before being introduced to the beer. Based on a belgian tripel, this beer went through 16 months lactic fermentation and aging in french oak wine barrels, then rested on the fruit for four months before finishing
Cascade Kriek Ale
7.3% ABV / Glass Our kriek spends over six months in lactic fermentation and aging in oak barrels. This nw style sour red ale is fermented for eight months with fresh whole bing and sour pie cherries
Sang Rouge
Sang rouge: 8% ABV / Glass Aged up to 30 months in oak barrels, this ale is a blend of as many as nine lots of aged reds, resulting in a very deep, rich and complex sour
The Vine
8.3% ABV / Glass This nw style sour blends soured tripel, blonde and golden ales that were then fermented with the juice of white wine grapes. It's a delicious offering that appeals to both beer and wine drinkers
Bourbonic Plague
12% ABV / Glass This blend of strong dark porters was aged in oak, wine and bourbon barrels, then blended with a dark porter that had been brewed with vanilla beans and cinnamon. The blend was then aged an additional 14 months on dates
Vlad the Imp Aler
10.3% ABV / 6 IBU / Glass This strong nw sour is a blend of strong blonde quads and tripels aged in oak and bourbon barrels, then further blended with spiced blondes and left to condition for an additional five months
Summer Gose
Summer gose: 5% ABV / teardrop A traditional german, slightly sour, spiced summer wheat beer, this is our take on a twice lost and revived german beer style. It's light and golden with a slightly salty finish
Razberry Wheat
4.5% ABV / 18 IBU / teardrop This ruby pink wheat beer is crisp with a refreshing tartness and aroma of fresh raspberries
Spring Gose
4.5% Abv - Served in a Teardrop Our long awaited spring gose is a wheat beer made with German Pilsner malts. We brew it with chamomile, lemon peel, salt and both golden and purple culinary lavender flowers. Cascade's version of a spring tonic
Cascade IPA (India Pale Ale)
5.7 %‏ Abv, 60 IBU - Served in an imperial pint This light drinkable beer is a hop showcase. Bravo and Brewers Gold start it off with resins and spice that greet you in the nose. Brewers Gold, Perle and Calypso deliver a noticeable hop bite with a lingering spice that leaves you wanting another sip. Servus

Though this wasn’t my favorite brewery that I visited In Portland, definitely worth a trip. What made the brewery so special was our server Addison. He gave us plenty of recommendations for food and beers to try around Portland as well as places to check...More

I love sour beers so I was always going to enjoy a visit to this venue. The staff were knowledgable and helpful and aided me with some advice in choosing some tasters to sample their range. Belmont is a busy street but it was still...More

The beers are good, and the staff is excellent at helping make selections. If I were just rating on those two factors this place would be a 5. However, the pretzel, although tasty, was so small it would’ve been funny if I hadn’t been looking...More

I knew the Cascade Brewing Barrel House was expensive. It makes some of the most exotic fruit and sour beers in the USA. But $4 for a quarter pint is going too far. They could import even better beers from Belgium cheaper. I and another...More

Cascade Brewing has a reputation for excellent sour beers. I was on a pilgrimage through PDX for beer purposes and this stop seemed necessary. The place was packed and it took a while to get seated, but once there I was able to experience the...More

Beer sampling at it's finest. Everything I tasted was delicious, my wife loved it. "Beer cheese soup" is unreal. So so good. The Ruben was very tasty. Fun environment. Wait staff super friendly and very knowledgeable with the beers. The menu also has suggested pairings.

The only place I found their beers was at the Barrel House. They had probably 15 different beers you could buy, including different vintages of their sours. I also bought one at a shop in the airport each time I have... More
